My wife is super stoked to have me in the Philippines with her. She is much like who I was as a child, in terms of love of country. Something I started aspiring for, as I lost the love for my country. I am now loyal to two countries. But only one kingdom, the kingdom of Heaven. I know the same is true for my Wife. Speaking of My wife, I am going to list 5 things that I absolutely love about her.
- She aspires to be GODLY.
- She is super PATIENT.
- She practices SELF CONTROL.
- She is truly the PROVERBS 31 woman.
- She always ENCOURAGES me.
I can not emphasize this enough. She is not the typical church WOMAN. A lot of church women plan for a back up, not her. She has God as her backup. I can not express in enough words how inspiring that is.
I also witnessed how PATIENT my Wife is. She has always been quick to maintain her silence when I have lost my cool. When everyone has said they would leave in the situations I put her in. My wife went to God and listened to what He had to say. So she stayed patient, and eventually she ended up marrying me. God won, I lost. I ended up changing some major things in My life. Only God and Her know what I put her through.
My wife has so many times practiced SELF CONTROL. Here are three ways that I know she has practiced self control.
- Saving money. She refuses to spend money she does not have for frivolous things.
- When I have given her reasons to be angry, She has refused to get angry.
- She sets aside time for every thing. AKA follows a schedule for everything.
In regards to being a PROVERBS 31 woman. I wake up bragging about how she works so hard. I know she will be upset with this picture. But this is her in raw form. Just working as hard as she can. I am so proud to have her as my wife. I am truly inspired to have her by my side. This is truly what a proverbs 31 woman looks like.
I don’t know how many times that I have wanted to quit on something and she would speak to me, “Conrad, You’ve got this!” ” Conrad, did You read the Bible?”, or just simply being there for me. She has been my motivation outside of God. I truly thank God for her every day.
